Eric Dierks, Farm Manager, ICP Level 3 Instructor: Eric has competed up to and including the four-star level. A great believer in
the U.S. Pony Club, he received his graduate A in 1990. One of the first wave of graduates from the USEA Instructor Certification
Program, Eric divides his time between teaching and training. He gives clinics
throughout the U.S and also donates his time to the USEA outreach program, and
the Young Rider Program. He served as team coach for the Area IV young riders
team from 1997-1998, and 2002. He currently serves as their team selector.
Sara Kozumplik Dierks, Overall Manager, ICP Level 3 Instructor: A graduate A Pony Clubber, Sara has successfully competed at the four star
level for six years. Sara was the double gold medalist at the Young Rider
Championships in 2000. She also has had the opportunity, through her sponsor Edy Hunter and Overlook
Farm, to compete at Rolex, Badminton, Burghley, Blenheim, Bramham, and The
World Cup in Pau, France. She is actively involved in numerous programs promoting the sport of eventing,
including the USEA Outreach program, the Pony Club, and Area IV Young Riders.
Sally Robertson, Stable Manager: A native of New Zealand, Sally has several years experience grooming for top
international yards. Her dedication to and management of all the horses on the property is
unparalleled.
Candice Money, Office Manager: Candice received her B.A in 2001 from the University of Mary Washington and her
Masters of Public Policy from American University in 2003. She joins the Overlook team as its Office Manager following several years on
Capitol Hill. Candice has competed through training level and is a graduate C-3 of the U.S.
Pony Club.
Hannah Whalen: Hannah first came to Overlook in the summer of 2005 as a working student from
Wisconsin. In addition to being responsible for the care of Eric’s horses, she also competes her own horse, George. Hannah and George, an eight year old TB gelding, compete at the preliminary
level. Their goal is to run a CCI* in the fall of 2006.
Rebecca Charnock: Becca a native of England, recently joined the Overlook Farm team as a groom
for Eric Dierks. Prior to arriving at Overlook, Becca spent the last few years as professional
groom in England, where she also completed college courses in horse management
as well as training through the British Horse Society.
Emily Reed: Emily is an active competitor who comes to Overlook Farm from Stillwater,
Minnesota. In 2004, she received her C-3 rating from the U.S. Pony Club, and was a member
of the Area IV Junior Developing Rider Program from 2004-2006. Emily has competed through the Preliminary level and is working toward her first
CCI/CIC* in the spring of 08.
